Birdham Pool

Large Chichester harbour mooring and marina facilties

Birdham Pool is an impressive well established marina on the eastern side of the Birdham Channel of Chichester Harbour.

The moorings are non-tidal for most of the year. Birdham Pool has extensive boatyard facilites and has moorings for over 250 boats.

Thornham Marina

Moorings on Thorney Island

Also providing moorings in Chichester Harbour, but on its western shores is Thornham Marina. Thornham Marina is near Prinsted on Thorney Island.

Storage and pontoon mooring is available, and the marina also has a small number of moorings in the open waters of the Prinsted Channel. Access to Chichester Harbour is generally possible for two hours either side of high tide.
