Labrador BreedersThe Labrador Retriever Club has one of the longest domain names we have ever come across but performing good work in maintaining the Labrador Breed Standard.
Mid Sussex Working Spaniel ClubNo, not a club where stockbroker spaniels can enjoy a quiet pint after a hard day at the office...but more importantly a Club which exists to "encourage the working qualities of all types of spaniels."
This means encouraging best practice in training working spaniels and conducting working tests for gundogs.
West Chiltington Cavalier ClubThe Cavalier Club is a club for owners of Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. Members meet at West Chiltington Village Hall, West Chiltington, Pulborough every second Tuesday of the month, with guest speakers and advice on many dog issues.
The Cavalier Club's team of dog trainers offer training for all breeds of dog as well as GCDS Training and Puppy classes. The club point out that Associate Membership is available for non-cavalier folk which gives access to the training classes and to other events.
Shoreham Ringcraft ClubSpecialities include puppy socialisation, matches and events and small breeds.
Sussex Longdog AssociationThe society races Lurchers, Greyhounds and Whippets at Broad Farm Hellingly, which is between Hailsham and Horam in East Sussex.
The Sussex Longdog Association also runs lure coursing events. This involves dogs racing against each other and being judged on a number of factors rather than pure speed alone.
Worthing Canine SocietyThe society holds two open shows a year at the Ardingly Showground.
Clymping Dog SanctuaryThe kind folk at the Sanctuary, which is located near Ford, are always looking for good, kind, caring homes for the dogs they look after.
