Holmbush Farm World

Holmbush is primarily a working farm, but it is also the home to Farmworld, which allows visitors to view farm animals up close and personal.

Sussex Falconry Centre

You could also try the Sussex Falconry Centre if you want your kids to see some slightly wilder working animals. The Falconry Centre is about 2 miles south of Chichester, just off the A286.

It now specialises in running one day courses for people who would like to learn more about these amazing birds. You can also take part in longer courses where you can actually go out hunting with the birds (Harris Hawks, Red Tailed Hawks, Goshawks and Falcons).

Please note that the centre no longer operates as a visitor centre as of the start of 2008. The Centre's interesting site has full details.
