Chichester Hockey Club

Very strong club running 15 mens and women's teams at all levels. 1st XI is the second strongest in the county but a long way behind East Grinstead.

Chichester Hockey Club also runs the annual Chichester Real Ale & Jazz festival which is one of the musical high spots of the West Sussex summer calendar

Running 4 mens teams, 2 ladies teams plus youth and junior hockey.

Large and very successful hockey club with very good all round sports facilities.

Haslemere Hockey Club

Strictly speaking not in West Sussex, but a good choice if you live north of Petworth or Midhurst. A nice hockey club in our opinion.

Horley Hockey Club

Small club running 2 mens' teams and a Ladies XI.

Horsham Hockey Club

Large club running 6 mens and 6 ladies teams. Based at Cricketfield Road which also houses the Horsham Cricket Club and Horsham Squash Club.

Mid Sussex Hockey Club

Although not owning a home of their own, Mid Sussex are a very friendly club whose team play a good standard of hockey right through the club.

Penguin Hockey Club

Worthing based club who run the famous Worthing Festival as well as a good range of teams in the regular season.

Penguin Hockey Festival

Annual Festival held at the end of the season in Worthing.

The festival has been going since 1974 and attracts around 90 teams from all over the country.

Southwick Hockey Club

Between Shoreham and Brighton. 4 mens teams, 2 ladies plus juniors.

St Francis Hockey Club

St Francis run two mens sides with the 1st XI playing in the 1st XI of the Sussex Open Premier League.

Matches played at the Triangle Centre, Burgess Hill.

Strong club running more than 12 teams. Really nice website too.

Brighton and Hove Hockey Club

Large club who pay at the windswept Stanley Deason Centre at the moment but who are planning to move to somewhere less Arctic in due course.

Burgess Hill Ladies Hockey Club

The club currently run three elevens in the Sussex league and a development team for the younger players. Matches are played at the Triangle Centre in Burgess Hill.
