Tree Top Shooting Club

Tree Top shooting has a fantastic shooting game on its website which we heartily recommend. A great way to waste time.

The club itself offers clay pigeon shooting lessons and practice for beginners and more experienced shooters alike from its facilities east of Haslemere.

Shooting Lessons

Based in Horsham but able to put on events throughout Sussex.

Events offered include individual and group shooting lessons as well as loosely related entertainments such as quad biking. crossbow shooting, mud carts, hovercraft, 4x4 driving.

Stag parties , hen parties and corporate team building days can all be accommodated.

Chadhurst Corporate Clay Pigeon Shooting

Although its main clay shooting site is in Surrey, Chadhurst organises events across Sussex as well as Kent, Surrey and Essex.

These include Falconry, Fly Fishing, Archery, Suffolk Punch Horse drawn wagon Pub Tours. They have recently introduced a "Segway experience" which seems to involve racing Segways round traffic cones.

Based at their new range in Wellington Road at the northern edge of Oaklands Park in Chichester.

Worthing & West Sussex Small Bore Rifle Association

Association organising smallbore and airgun target shooting for around 20 clubs across West Sussex.

There are member clubs shooting at Aldingbourne, Chichester, Cuckfield, East Grinstead, Fittleworth, Handcross, Haywards Heath, Horsham, Lancing, Lindfield, Petworth, Portslade, Southwick and Worthing and the website provides a useful starting point if you are interested in taking part.

By the way, if you don't know what hoplophobic means, apparently firearms instructor Colonel Jeff Cooper coined the word in 1962 to describe a "mental disturbance characterized by irrational aversion to weapons".

Aldingbourne Target Shooting Club

The club has around 50 members and facilities include an indoor 25 yard range and access to a nearby outside range for shooting up to 100 yards.
