Wakehurst Place is managed by the same people behind the Royal Botanic Gardens at Kew in London so you would expect it to be a top class botanical garden. It is.

The estate is divided into three main zones - themed around conservation, woodlands and varied gardens (walled, winter, specimen and so on).

Wakehurst Place is also notable for being the home of the Millennium Seed Bank.
