Pagham Harbour facts and figures
The Harbour itself, while considerably smaller than the other Solent Harbours of Chichester Harbour, Langstone Harbour and Portsmouth Harbour, is substantial - with a circumference of around 8 kilometers.
At low tide, over 2 sq kilometers of salt marsh and tidal mud are exposed as the Harbour empties.
Three main settlements adjoin the Harbour, Church Norton, Sidlesham and Pagham itself.
