With Fishbourne Roman Place and the Roman Villa at Bignor, we're fortunate to have two of the finest recovered Roman buildings in the country.

Great site which gives a whole host of varied information about slightly random bits of Sussex history.

Did you know, for example, that in 1645 a militia group called "The Clubmen" used the Trundle north of Chichester as a military base.
