Food and drink
Available at the Frankland Arms in Washington and also at several good places in Steyning and Bramber at the end of the journey.
Public Transport
There's a bus from Worthing to Horsham which stops at Washington.
Steyning is served by buses from Brighton and Shoreham.
The walk from the end of the route to Shoreham railway station is an easy one along the River Adur.
Hazards to look out for
The A24 crossing at the end of this section of the South Downs Way can be a bit risky, but there's an alternative route which uses a footbridge.
