Nearest towns and villages
Cocking, Heyshott, Graffham, Duncton, Upwaltham.

Food and drink
Water tap at Hill Barn, Cocking.

Public Transport
Infrequent buses go to Graffham, Bignor and Sutton from Chichester and Petworth. The stops are still some distance from the South Downs Way.

At the start of the leg there is an excellent bus service to Cocking - the 60 Midhurst to Chichester bus.

Hazards to look out for
Fast traffic at the A285 crossing at Littleton Farm at the end of the leg

The A286 crossing at Cocking is safer, altough it is near the crest of the hill.
